that summer feeling
Summer, when staying out so late we watch the sun come up, eating fruit for breakfast, lunch and tea. Going barefoot on the hot bitumen. Vodka straight from the bottle. Swapping a shower for a swim at the beach, letting salt dry in your hair, tan lines, skinny dipping. Driving with the windows down and singing along to Bob Marley, the wind on our face & our hair blown back, warm crisp nights spent star gazing, that perfect summer romance.
